Website: www.MeasureUpPressureDown.com

The American Medical Group Foundation (AMGF) is the philanthropic arm of the American Medical Group Association. As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, its mission is to foster quality improvement in group practice through education and research programs in clinical quality, patient safety, service, operational efficiency and innovation.

Created by the AMGF, Measure Up/Pressure Down leverages the coordinated care delivery systems of members of the American Medical Group Association to improve hypertension care and patient outcomes. Measure Up/Pressure Down challenges medical groups and health systems to achieve the ambitious goal of having 80 percent of high blood pressure patients with their condition under control by 2016. The campaign brings together national partners to provide patients, employers and communities information and tools that facilitate lifestyle changes, medication adherence, and awareness of the dangers of uncontrolled blood pressure. More than 140 medical groups and health systems delivering care to over 42 million patients have joined Measure Up/Pressure Down.
