Alliance for the Million Hearts® Campaign Partner Toolkit
Million Hearts® collaborated with the CDC Foundationexternal icon to develop a new campaign to remind people in the United States to make cardiovascular health a priority, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The “Start Small. Live Big.” campaign will encourage adults, particularly those age 55 and older, to get back on track with the small steps—like scheduling their medical appointments, getting active, and eating healthy—so that people can get back to living big.
This toolkit includes messages and tools that health care professionals can use to encourage adults 55 and over to practice heart-healthy habits that can help lower their risk for heart disease and stroke.
Please join us in sharing these lifesaving messages. You can use the assets included below and/or direct people to HeartHealthySteps.orgexternal icon.
Video PSAs
Partners with the Alliance for the Million Hearts® Campaign have helped develop the “Start Small. Live Big.” public service announcements (PSAs), which will be launched to the public in September.
One PSA encourages people to live big by taking healthy steps like talking to their doctors about their heart health.
The other PSA promotes getting back to living big by moving your body, eating healthy, and taking regular medication.
